Daily record of COVID-19 recoveries set on July 9

10 July 2020

Cases of the COVID-19 disease caused by the
coronavirus reached 819 on July 9, Health Minister Maksyn Stepanov told his
press briefing this morning. That’s compared to 810 on July 8 and 803 on July
7. An estimated 18 people died on July 9, while a daily record of 1,016
recoveries were confirmed. A record of 59 infections was set in the Kharkiv
region on the Russian border.

 

Zenon Zawada: This week
can be considered the third splash of the first wave of the coronavirus in
Ukraine. Yet the overall situation has been stabilized.
