EBRD to direct up to USD 50 mln to NCH agricultural projects

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has announced that it could allocate up to USD 50 mln in a long-term revolving loan to finance pre and post-harvest working capital needs of Ukrainian agricultural producers that are majority owned by NCH New Europe Property Fund. The project’s goal is to increase the farms’ efficiency and crop yields. NCH New Europe Property Fund is a property fund that is fully invested in real estate and agricultural companies in Eastern Europe; it owns, via majority stakes in three Ukrainian joint ventures, 35 farms and elevator companies in Ukraine.
