Enakievo Steel Starts Building A New Blast Furnace

Enakievo Steel (ENMZ: BUY) announced it has started building a new blast furnace complex, which is expected to increase the plant’s cast iron production approximately twofold from 761 ths mt to 1.2 mln mt a year. Investments into the project are estimated at USD 260 mln. The furnace will be commissioned in 2010.
