Eurocar August Output up 26.4% yoy.

Eurocar, which produces Volkswagen and Skoda cars under license, produced 1,096 cars in August, up 26.4% yoy, bringing 8M06 output to 12.2 ths, up 133.9% yoy. Olha Pankiv: Eurocar is keeping up with its plan to increase production by 92% in 2006 to 21.5 ths cars. Rapidly growing demand suggests the growth will continue: sales of new cars grew by 34% yoy in August, and supply shortages at some dealers suggest they could have sold more.
