Eurocar Production More Than Doubles In 11M, Likely To Overshoot Goal For 2006

Eurocar production reached 18,898 automobiles in 11M, more than double the amount the carmaker produced during the same period in 2005.Eurocar produces Volkswagen and Skoda cars and in August began production of Seats under license. The company attracted a EUR 252 mln syndicated loan in October to further expand capacity. With no less than a three-month waiting list at most dealerships for most of the company’s models, Eurocar is racing to expand its production facilities to keep up with increasing demand.
