Evraz opens business unit for major investment projects

Evraz Group (LSE: EVR LI) created a new business unit to oversee all of its major investment projects, according to an RNS release distributed yesterday. The unit will be headed by Marat Atnashev, who joins the company from Gazprom Neft; he previously worked for 10 years at TNK Group (TNK BP since 2003). Evraz Group is a Russian-based vertically integrated steel, mining and vanadium holding with operations in Russia, Ukraine, the U.S., Canada, Czech Republic, Italy and South Africa. Among listed Ukrainian assets, Evraz controls the DMP Petrovskogo Steel mill (UX: DMZP UK, N/R).
