Ferrexpo announces its 1H08 results

Ferrexpo plc (FXPO LN: HOLD) yesterday announced its financial and production results for 1H08. The company’s revenue was up by 58% yoy to USD 519.5 mln, EBITDA rose by 101% yoy to USD 228 mln and profit grew by 288% yoy to USD 157.7 mln. Ferrexpo increased the production of high quality pellets (65% FE) from its own ore by 8% yoy.
