Ferrexpo appoints independent director

Ferrexpo appoints independent director

1 March 2021

Ukraine’s largest iron ore pellet exporter Ferrexpo
(FXPO LN) appointed Ann-Christin Gjerdseth Andersen as an independent non-executive
director, the company reported in a March 1 release.

Andersen, whose appointment takes effect March 1, has
more than 30 years of managerial experience in the oil and gas industry,
according to the release. She also held board positions in various companies,
including in the renewable energy sector.

Lucio Genovese, Ferrexpo board’s chair, noted
Andersen’s experience in safety culture, automation and digital transformation,
which are closely aligned to Ferrexpo’s latest development phase, the release
said.

Recall, Ferrexpo said in August
that it was seeking two independent directors.

Dmytro Khoroshun: An
immediate order of business for Ferrexpo’s strengthened board is to consider the
final dividend for 2020, which we expect might reach USc 13.2 per share.
Ferrexpo might announce its final dividend decision together with or before the
upcoming 2020 yearly results report on March 17.

So far, Ferrexpo has declared and paid USc 33.0 per
share in dividends for 2020, compared with USc 19.8 per share for 2019.
