Finance Ministry attracts UAH 453 bln in local bonds

At a primary sovereign bond auction yesterday, Ukraine’s Finance Ministry sold UAH 453 bln (USD 57.3 mln) in UAH bonds, 57% less than in last week’s auction. Three-month paper, sold for UAH 147.3 mln, yielded 6.75%, while 7-month paper (UAH 108.7 mln) had an average yield of 9.5% (vs. 9% for 6-month bonds a week ago).
