Finance Ministry comes up empty in local bond auction

The Finance Ministry failed to sell any local bond issues in its recent auction on March 30. It had offered issues with a 189-day tenor at 18% YTM and 1,092 day issues at 15.6% YTM. The Finance Ministry’s last successful auction was on March 19, when it sold UAH 1.5 bln in 11-month bonds. So far this year, the government has issued UAH 3.1 bln in local bonds.
