Finance Ministry Sells USD 2.6 mln in Local Bonds, Retaining Low Stop Yields

At their local bond auction yesterday, the Finance Ministry found buyers for its three-year bonds at 6.6% yield. The total volume sold was a tiny UAH 13 mln (USD 2.6 mln). The government did not place bonds with four, seven and ten year tenors; the bonds’ stop yields were 6.4%, 5.4% and 5.1% respectively.
