Finance Ministry sells USD 2.9 mln in local bond at auction

Yesterday, Ukraine’s Finance Ministry placed an additional UAH 19.6 mln (USD 2.9 mln) in local bonds at auction. The bond issue matures on October 23, 2010 and has a coupon of 15.6%. Including the proceeds from yesterday’s auction, the government has sold USD 1.28 bln in local bonds this year. The Finance Ministry will hold its next local bond auction on December 1.
