Finance Ministry sells USD 72 mln at local bond auction

The Finance Ministry sold UAH 537.2 mln (USD 72.3 mln) total in local bonds yesterday at auction. The issue matures on October 23, 2013 and has a coupon of 15.6%. The Finance Ministry failed to find takers for bonds offered at the same rate maturing in April and May 2009, May 2010 and November 2013. Since the beginning of 2008, the Finance Ministry has sold UAH 9.17 bln (USD 1.23 bln).
