Foreign investors interested in Ukrprombank – NBU

The National Bank of Ukraine said yesterday on its website that American, Russian and Swedish companies have submitted written proposals to acquire stakes in Ukrprombank. The NBU said it was meeting with representatives of these companies and negotiations were in preliminary stages. Ukrprombank is currently under the NBU’s temporary administration and is among the banks set to be nationalized; it was Ukraine’s #18th largest bank as of July 1, according to the NBU.
