President Viktor Yushchenko appointed Serhii Holovatyi, as Ukraine’s new Justice Minister yesterday. The appointment of Holovatyi completes new PM Yurii Yekhanurov’s Cabinet. Holovatyi, served as Ukraine’s Justice Minister from 1995 to 1997. Before being named Justice Minister, Holovatyi was a deputy in the Verkhovna Rada and was elected as a member of the Yulia Tymoshenko Block. Concorde Capital: The finalization of the new Cabinet means that it will start work soon. The new Cabinet, for the most part, is made up of the same players, the only key change besides PM is the new Economic Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk: a young liberal economist formerly with the Central Bank. As we have been saying all along, under Yekhanurov the new Cabinet will be more technical and less politically motivated than before.
