Gas Transportation Tariffs To Grow 31.4% In January

Yesterday the National Electricity Regulation Commission (NERC) approved an increase of gas transportation tariffs for Ukrainian consumers to 18.2 USD/ths cm. The average increase in tariffs for gas distribution companies (GasCos) is 34.8%. Alexander Paraschiy: This is positive news for GasCos, who rarely see their transportation tariffs increase (refer to our GasCos report). New transportation tariffs will allow GasCos to remain profitable when gas prices will go up in January 1, 2007.
