GDP Up 7.9% yoy in February

According to the State Statistics Committee, Ukraine’s GDP clmbed 7.9% yoy in February (+8.6% yoy for 2M07). The main drivers this year continued to be construction (+18.7% yoy) and the processing industry (15.5%). Trade added another 14% yoy growth. The Cabinet of Ministers is forecasting the GDP to increase by 6.5% in 2007, based on the state budget figures.
