Government Supports Introduction Of Zero Class Tariffs.

Prime Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov said a preliminary decision on this was made at the government’s meeting on March 19, 2006. Yekhanurov expects final approval of zero class tariffs (a new preferential class of tariffs applicable to the largest electricity consumers) on March 29, 2006. The list of companies that will enjoy low zero class tariffs has expanded to 22. Concorde Capital: We expect the Zaporizhzhya Aluminum Mill (ZALK: BUY), DniproSpetsStal (DNSS: BUY) and three major ferroalloy producers -Nikopol Ferroalloy (NFER: Pending), Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy (ZFER: BUY) and Stakhanov Ferroalloy (SFER: BUY), to benefit the most from the new tariffs.
