After Kryvyy Rih Cement acquired Dniprocement, HeidelbergCement (Germany), the majority shareholder of plants, announced plans to add Doncement, its third asset, under the roof of Kryvyy Rih Cement. All three enterprises will be managed by a single group of managers. HeidelbergCement’s additional plans include vertical integration through the acquisition of a cement pit to supply the group with raw materials.Concorde Capital: The united company will control 18% of Ukraine’s total cement capacities. Kryvyy Rih cement and Dniprocement have a competitive advantage over their Ukraine’s peers as they are the only companies in Ukraine using the energy-saving “dry” method of production.
