Industrial output increases 8% yoy in 5M08

Ukrainian industrial output grew 8% yoy in 5M08, the State Statistics Committee reported yesterday. In May, industrial output rose 2.2% mom after a 1% decline in April. Polina Khomenko: Benign growth in both metallurgy and food processing output (3.7% and 5.2% mom, respectively) was the main force driving industrial output in May.
