Interpipe production volumes might drop 15-35% in October

Interpipe production volumes might drop 15-35% in October

4 November 2021

Crude steel production at Ukraine’s largest pipe and
railway wheel producer Interpipe (INTHOL) was 63 kt in October, a 35% m/m
plunge, according to an Nov. 3 Interfax-Ukraine new report.

A 12-day regular maintenance of the steelmaking
facilities that ended on Nov. 1 was the reason for the drop, according to
Interpipe’s statements as cited by Interfax-Ukraine.

Pipe production at Interpipe dropped 14% m/m in
October, according to Concorde Capital analysis of a separate Interfax-Ukraine
report.

Dmytro Khoroshun: Interpipe’s production volumes should rebound in November after this
drop.
