Ivano-Frankivskcement lands USD 87 mln EBRD loan

Ivano-Frankivskcement has landed a USD 87 mln loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for modernization, company representatives told Ukrainian News yesterday. The loan was given as part of a program to increase energy efficiency in Ukraine. With the loan proceeds, the plant expects to increase production 60%, while reducing fuel and electric power consumption by 50% and CO2 emissions by 3 mln mt.
