January Negative Trade Balance Of Goods Reaches USD 374 Mln.

In January exports of goods fell 6.3% yoy and totaled USD 2.34 bln, while imports shot up by 50% yoy reaching USD 2.71 bln. In 2005 the negative trade balance of goods reached USD 1.85 bln, but due to the positive dynamics in the trade of services (positive trade balance was USD 3.22 bln), Ukraine’s total foreign trade balance total was positive – USD 1.37 bln (1.7% of GDP).
