JKX raises production 24% yoy in 3Q09

9 November 2009

JKX Oil & Gas (JKX LN) released its interim management statement this morning on its 3Q09 results. The company reported overall production of 13,657 boepd (up 24% yoy), gas production of 50.5 MMcfd (up 14% yoy) and oil production of 5,233 bopd (up 46% yoy). The company attributed its production growth in 3Q09 to higher oil & gas production in Ukraine and new production coming on-stream in Hungary, where it initiated production at the Hajdunanas field in August. JKX said it expects average production in 4Q09 of 13,000 boepd and JKX Chief Executive Paul Davies said the company was targeting average production in 2009 of over 11,500 boepd.
