KDD Group acquires UAH 3.4 mln plot in Kyiv

KDD Group (KDDG LN) said on Friday that it purchased a 0.17 ha landplot in Kyiv on Lesy Ukrainky Street for UAH 3.41 mln. The acquisition is related to the company’s Sept. 2008 agreement to takeover the assets of real estate developer Lakki, which had leased the landplot for five years. KDD acquired Lakki for EUR 4.18 mln. The land plot will be used for a residential project (5.4 ths m2, of which 3.9 ths m2 will be livable); construction is planned to begin in 2010.
