Kharkiv to issue UAH 500 mln in local bonds

The City of Kharkiv is preparing to issue UAH 500 mln (USD 103.1 mln) in local bonds at up to 13% in 2008, Kharkiv Major Mykhailo Dobkin said yesterday. The issue will consist of two tranches: UAH 200 mln (USD 41.2 mln) and UAH 300 mln (USD 61.8 mln). All technical procedures required for the issue are expected to be finished by August.
