Kharkiv Tractor Increases Production By 29.4% To USD 93.1 mln In 2005.

In unit terms output grew by 25% to 2,500 tractors. However, the company plans decrease production by 16% to 2,100 tractors in 2006 due to lack of domestic demand. Nearly 64.15% of Kharkiv Tractor is controlled by Ukrsibbank group, and another 27.6% stake is state-owned. Concorde Capital: The drop in internal demand is due to the decrease of compensation for the purchase of Ukrainian-made agricultural equipment in the 2006 budget.
