Khartsyzk Tube Raises Pipe Output 30.8% YOY, To 274.9K mt, In 1H05.

The company (HRTR: SELL) achieved such a high level of output growth mainly due to large orders from Iran and for construction of the Atasu?Alashankou oil pipeline (Kazakhstan-China). The company’s management expects that in 2H05 most orders will come from Russia (Gazprom, Transneft). If the Ukrainian and Russian governments sign a deal to construct the Bogorodchany-Uzhgorod gas pipeline in 2005, HRTR has a good chance to win a tender for this project.
