Kherson Oil Refinery EGM To Approve Changes to Internal Documents

Kherson Oil Refinery EGM To Approve Changes to Internal Documents

6 June 2008

Open JSC Kherson Oil Refinery (HNPK) will hold an EGM to consider changes to its internal policies on July 20. No details have been made available so far, but shareholders will be able to see the proposed changes everyday starting July 12, from 9am to 3pm. Noteworthy, an EGM of Closed JSC Kherson Oil Refinery, where HNPK has held 39% since January this year, is scheduled for the same day, July 20, at 3:30 pm. The EGM will consider changes to the statutory documents of the company. Vladimir Nesterenko: Our major concern in regards to Kherson Refinery is the asset stripping risk associated with the creation of a closed join-stock company with the same name. The proposed changes to Kherson Refinery’s internal policies and the EGM might shed more light on the issue.
