Khmelnitskoblenergo To Pay USD 244 ths in Dividends

20 March 2008

At their AGM on March 18, shareholders of electricity distribution company Khmelnitskoblenergo (HMON: U/R) decided to direct USD 244 ths, or 15% of the company’s 2007 net income to dividends. This yields a DPS of USD 0.0018 and dividend yield of 0.072%. Alexander Paraschiy: In 2007, the National Energy Company (which holds 70% of HMON) voted for a 15% dividend payout for controlled Oblenergos that do not have large retained losses (in 2006 it was 40%). Likewise, we expect a 15% payout at other state-controlled Oblenergos this year.
