Klitschko refutes retirement rumors

26 September 2012

WBC heavyweight champion Vitaliy Klitschko took to Facebook to refute media reports that he was ending his professional boxing career. Klitschko participated in his 47th professional fight on September 8, pushing his career wins to 45, including 41 by KO. Klitschko is the head of the opposition political party Udar, which is #3 most popular in Ukraine according to most opinion polls. His party’s current polling results indicate that, as he tops his party list, Klitschko should have a spot as an MP in the next parliament after the October 28 election.
