Konti Reports IFRS Financials As Part Of Foreign Investment Project

Following an IFRS audit by Ernst & Young, Konti, one of Ukraine’s largest confectionary producers, reported net profits USD 184.2 mln, in 2005 up 34.4% yoy from 2004. According to Konti’s Finacial Director Dimitri Kolesnik, the company’s move to report IFRS financials is part of its preparations for a new investment project involving foreign investors.
