Ukraine’s 13th largest bank by assets, Kreditprombank has drawn a USD 100 mln syndicated loan, according to the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development. The bank received USD 28 mln from the EBRD for four years and the remaining USD 72 mln from a bank syndicate for two years with an option to extend the period for two more years. ING, Raiffeisen Zentralbank and Mizuho Corporate Bank organized the deal. Kreditprombank intends to utilize the funds to finance small business projects related to energy savings. In October 2006, Kreditprombank attracted a USD 42 mln syndicated loan, of which USD 13 mln came from the EBRD.
