Kryukiv Wagon CEO: railcar output to equal 3 ths units in 2009

Kryukiv Wagon (KVBZ) President Vladimir Prikhodko said yesterday at a press conference that he expects the company to make 3 ths freight railcars in 2009, down 53% yoy. Prikhodko said Kryukiv built 500 freight railcars in November. The company announced in mid-November that it planned to turn out 500 railcars per month in 4Q09.  Yegor Samusenko: The expectations of Kryukiv’s management for 2009 exceed our forecast. We see the plant producing 2.4 ths railcars in 2009E, 63% down yoy.
