Kryukiv Wagon gets 250 freight car order

21 September 2009

Kryukiv Wagon (KVBZ) received an order for 250 freight railcars for Donetsk Railways, Ukrainian News reported on Friday, citing a company official. Yegor Samusenko: This announcement signals that Kryukiv Wagon secured one quarter of the total 1,000 wagon order announced by Donetsk Railways in September. We estimate the value of Kryukiv’s contract to be around UAH 125 mln. The contract does not change our expectations for Kryukiv’s production in 2009: 1,700 freight railcars and 30 subway cars, which implies a 73% yoy reduction in output.
