Kryukiv Wagon gets permission for serial production of subway cars

Volodymyr Prikhodko, the head of Kryukiv Wagon’s (KVBZ: HOLD) supervisory council, said on Friday that on June 12 the company received permission for serial production of subway cars. According to him, currently the company is active in tenders on subway car supplies, including for the Kyiv subway. Prikhodko said that Kryukiv Wagon is ready to deliver 10 cars to the Kyiv subway system by the end of this year if it gets the orders. Kryukiv Wagon is Ukraine’s only producer of both passenger and freight railcars.
