Kryukiv Wagon to boost passenger wagon sales 75% yoy in 2012

21 May 2012

Kryukiv Wagon (KVBZ UK) signed an additional contract to supply seven passenger wagons to Kazakhstan in 2012, the company announced last Friday (via Interfax). This contract raises the total amount of Kryukiv’s passenger wagon sales by 75% yoy to 49 units in 2012.

Roman Dmytrenko: We expect sales from Kryukiv’s passenger wagon segment to double in 2012, with the sale of a high-speed train to Ukrzaliznytsya and 49 passenger wagons to Kazakhstan bringing in an estimated USD 72 mln in revenue to the company this year. The boom in supplies to Kazakhstan will raise the passenger segment’s share of the company’s total revenues by 5 pp to 9%.
