Kryukiv Wagon to deliver 14 passenger wagons to Kazakhstan

11 April 2012

Kryukiv Wagon (KVBZ UK) plans to supply 14 passenger railcars to Kazakhstan this month, the company said in a press release yesterday. This would be the first passenger railcars supplied to Kazakhstan under a contract for a total of 42 units that was announced in February (see our news dated February 22).

Roman Dmytrenko: According to February’s announcement, the company planned to fulfill the Kazakhstan order by May 2012, but a fire in one of its production workshops forced it to suspend production. At the same time, we do not see any risks of the contract not being executed in full as Kazakhstan is currently Kryukiv’s only passenger wagon customer.
