Kryukovsky Carriage-Building Production Dropped Slightly 1H05, New Order for 2H05 Reported.

The company’s production decreased by 3% in 1H05 in yoy terms, while sales remained at the same level. Compared to 2H04 the company’s output fell by 38.4% in 1H05, to USD 98.7 mln. In July Kryukovsky Carriage-Building (KVBZ) delivered 18 passenger cars to Ukrzaliznytsya for the new ?Kiev-Moscow? express train to be launched on August 1. The approximate value of the contract is USD 14.6 mln. The company also has an order from Togliattiazot (Russia) for the delivery of 300 carriages to transport mineral fertilizers. In May, KVBZ delivered 90 carriages to Lithuanian Railways, and 25 carriages for the transportation of aluminum to Russian Aluminum.
