A Kyiv administrative court yesterday abolished the injunction it imposed on the sale of three stakes of ~25% in Poltavaoblenergo (POON), Prykarpatoblenergo (PREN) and Sumyoblenergo (SOEN) by the government, Ukrainian News reported. A source in the State Property Fund quoted by Ukrainian News did not disclose which court handed down the ruling or when it was made. Last Friday a Kyiv court ruled to temporarily block the sale of the three stakes until it can hold a hearing. The case against the privatization was initiated by Valentina Semenyuk-Samusenko, a former SPF head and presidential candidate. The auctions for ~25% stakes in each Oblenergo have been postponed on a weekly basis since May as the SPF has been unable to field any bidders.
