Landkom partners with Lindsay Corp to develop irrigation system

Landkom partners with Lindsay Corp to develop irrigation system

2 April 2009

Landkom International (LKI LN) said in a press release this morning that it is collaborating with Lindsay Corporation to develop its irrigation system. Landkom said Lindsay is providing a test center pivot irrigation system and management expertise to the company’s agricultural land in Crimea. According to Landkom, the system optimizes growing conditions, increases yields and reduces input costs including machinery, energy and labor. In addition, the system eliminates the need for tractors to work the land between planting and harvesting. Landkom said the existing test unit, which covers a 64 ha plot, provides over 90% efficiency for input optimization.
