Luhanskteplovoz to cut workforce by 24%

According to the local daily newspaper Delo, Luhanskteplovoz (LTPL) plans to dismiss 2 ths (24%) of its employees during 2Q09-3Q09. The source states that the layoffs are caused by the lack of orders – in 1Q09 the company’s output dropped 63% compared to 4Q08.
