Lynvyn: ?No Re-Privatization? In Ukraine

Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada Chairman Volodymyr Lytvyn expressed hope that there will be no re-privatization in Ukraine, at a meeting in Chernihiv.š “I am convinced that there will be sheer talk and no results,” he said. Concorde Capital: There seems to be no end to politicians with conflicting statements over re-privatization. The only difference is we agree with this one. We maintain that there will be no sweeping re-privatizations by the new government. Instead, companies that privatized assets at a discount may be forced to make additional payments for their acquisitions.
