Metinvest Eyeing Canadian Steelmaker Stelco

According to a Canadian daily, Metinvest Holding, the metals and mining arm of System Capital Management that is owned by Ukrainian mogul Rinat Akhmetov, is a bidder for Stelco Inc, a Canadian steelmaker. Metinvest will compete with Russian Severstal and Indian Essar Steel, which have also expressed interest in Stelco.
