MKS Lifts PC Production by 53% in 2007

According to Interfax, MKS (KVIN: BUY) has produced 60 th PC’s, as of December 19, which is 53% more than last year’s annual output and 20% above the planned level. In 2008 MKS plans to boost its capacity by implementing two-shift manufacturing; it will allow for the production of 1 th PC’s daily. Alexander Viktorov: The risein PC assembly was a result of accelerating retail and corporate sales. In 9M MKS has become Ukraine’s second-largest desktop PC vendor in retail and expanded its order book to corporate clients more than twofold. In 9M the company’s PC sales accelerated to 38.3% yoy to USD 22.5 mln vs. 22% yoy a year ago.
