Mriya gets approval to acquire 6 sugar refineries

Mriya Sugar Holding, a subsidiary of Mriya Agroholding (MAYA GR), received regulatory permission from the Antimonopoly Commission of Ukraine to acquire six sugar refineries in Ternopil region, Interfax reported yesterday. In a separate announcement on its website, Mriya Agroholding said that it has started harvesting its 19.8 ths ha of winter rapeseed (up from 13.8 ths ha in 2008).
