Naftokhimik Prikarpatya To Spend USD 39.6 mln On Modernization in 2006

7 December 2008

According to a press release by Naftokhimik Prikarpatya (NAFP), the refinery has invested nearly USD 8 mln this year in its diesel fuel hydro-treating facilities and plans to spend another USD 31.6 mln by the end of the year. Vladimir Nesterenko: With only 24 days left to the end of year, there is obviously not enough time to finish the construction of hytro-treating facilities, especially given that there is still equipment worth around 4/5 of whole program that still needs to be purchased. NAFP is more likely to finish construction next year. The investment is aimed at improving the quality of NAFP’s diesel to comply with domestic regulations.
