NBU names RODB, UGZB and Bank Kyiv as first recapitalization targets

Yesterday the National Bank of Ukraine said that Rodovid Bank (RODB), Ukrgazbank (UGZB) and Bank Kyiv will be the first banks to be considered for state recapitalization. According to the NBU, each of the chosen banks needs about UAH 3 bln to recover its financial stability. The NBU Head Volodymyr Stelmakh said that the final decision on recapitalization will be made by the Cabinet on May 30.
