NBU specifies current account data: 1H08 deficit equaled 7.9% of GDP

The National Bank of Ukraine announced yesterday that the current account deficit amounted to USD 6.8 bln or 7.9% of GDP (USD 6.7 bln and 7.7%, respectively, according to preliminary data) in 1H08. For details, see our news of July 29.
