Pakko to Expand Network and Increase Turnover 28% in 2008

Lutsk-based retailer, Pakko (5CBA GR: N/R) announced plans to increase turnover 27.7% yoy to USD 300 mln in 2008, reported Interfax. Also, Pakko intends to expand its network by 50%, adding 40 new stores to its 79 existing. The company plans to further move out of its stronghold in Western Ukraine and strengthen positions in eastern and central regions of the country. A company representative was quoted as saying that Pakko would invest USD 50 mln into enlarging its chain.
